We played, we laughed
we were loved.
We were ripped from the arms of our
parents and thrown into the fire.
We were nothing more than children.
We had a future. We were going to be lawyers, rabbis, wives, teachers, mothers. We had dreams, then we had no hope. We were taken away in the dead of night like cattle in cars, no air to breathe smothering, crying, starving, dying. Separated from the world to be no more. From the ashes, hear our plea. This atrocity to mankind can not happen again. Remember us, for we were the children whose dreams and lives were stolen away.

And the child held her hand
A child tiny for almost eight,
Deep blue eyes that dominated his face,
When he explained new events to her,
that funny doggy,
that pretty rock,
And the freckles on his cheek,
No one saw a sunrise more perfect,
to her,
She so vividly smells the fragrance of
his hair,
his ears,
his breath in the morning
She vividly hears that little heartbeat,
that was hers
always hers,
and the laughter,
that raspy little laugh,
when he caught her in a conundrum.
All this,
But this is merely the surface,
As she watches her little God sheared,
and stripped,
For the gas chamber. - We are caught
Yelling, crying
We were safe, we thought
I pretend I am flying
They took away my doll
They shaved our heads
I run and fall
A man picks me up and beats me
He yelled Stupid Jude
They hate us you see
They give us no food
We die
There are only few
Why?
Because we are Jews.
Shuffling feet, moaning sounds
Bang gone, a loud cry coming
Barking, yelling from the hounds
A man is walking lost and humming
Old clothes tattered and worn
Hungry and tired drops on the ground
Little girl grabs her mother, she is torn
Little girl is found still loved.
Bang, bang, bang another gone
Pushing, screaming I am shoved
Morning, night then dawn
Open the door
Breathe in and out
I wish I had more
Open the door to get some air
I yell This isn't fair
Bang
I drop to the floor
- I Looked Out at Life with Holocaust EyesI looked out at life with Holocaust eyes
And what better did I know that I had been
looking through the lens of guilt and affliction,
Seeing life amiss and askew through my Holocaust guilt,

- I CRY FOR THEM-During the holocaust
So many jews
Lost their lives
And I cry for them
The Victim Some one mentioned the 'Holocaust' the old Jewish man said 'no'
Such word i do not wish to hear that happened years ago
Then he slowly folded up his sleeve and numbers etched in blue
Told of the sufferings he'd known and all he had been through
